KUALA LUMPUR – Social media users have lambasted a Caucasian woman who was barred from entering a Dior boutique in Suria KLCC because she was not wearing a mask.

In the brief clip uploaded by Twitter user @DFEfiercefun, a mall staffer was adamant not let to her enter while the woman insisted otherwise.

The post has gathered more than 100,000 views since the 23-second clip was uploaded this morning.

The Twitter user alleged the woman implied that “those wearing masks are communists”.

Many social media users said the woman should be issued a fine for ignoring safety regulations.

Meanwhile, a staffer at Suria KLCC confirmed the team is aware of what happened, saying that the SOPs are here to stay, which includes physical distancing and wearing of masks, as well as to only allow entry to fully vaccinated shoppers. – The Vibes, October 27, 2021
