KUALA LUMPUR – Random users have been affected after MySejahtera incorrectly assigned them with home surveillance orders (HSO) and person under surveillance (PUS) status.
Although MySejahtera has apologised and said the issue has been resolved, many users are still complaining that their incorrect statuses remained, affecting their ability to check into business premises.
“Good morning, everyone – we apologise for the error on our part which allowed random users to be given the HSOs/PUS status. We have fixed the root cause which allowed this to happen. All incorrect HSOs have been deleted, and incorrect PUS status reverted,” said MySejahtera on Twitter this morning.

Twitter user @haziqhashim said: “Mine still not reverting to normal status! PLS ACT URGENTLY”, while @zool_hilmi lambasted the team for the error.
“Hurmm… this kind of error is unacceptable, causing chaos among citizens… how are we supposed to go out since MySejahtera is being used everywhere, please look into this @Khairykj.”
Other users have complained that this affected their flights, interstate travel and so on.
They have taken to Twitter to urge MySejahtera to fix its glitch while tagging Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin and his ministry for help.
It is unclear how many MySejahtera users have been affected but there has been no update from the app team since 8.49am.
Meanwhile, affected users have been advised to turn to the app’s helpdesk to resolve the issue. – The Vibes, November 7, 2021
