KUALA LUMPUR – Police are believed to have initiated investigations on several sexual harassment allegations implicating a high-ranking judge.

According to former Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Lokman Noor Adam, there have already been reports by different women against the individual, who he claimed also holds a senior position in the Syariah Judiciary Department.

The latest police report happens to be related to the widow of a former CEO of a well-known company.

In an almost hour-long video uploaded on YouTube, Lokman said that he first discovered a police report by another woman who had worked with the judge.

Lokman alleged that the woman was working for Radio Ikim (Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia) when the judge went to her house.

He then only left early in the morning, after “everything except the act of penetration” took place, Lokman alleged.

After the incident, a police report was made by the woman and a former Terengganu mufti.

Lokman claimed that despite police and Ikim being aware of the matter, no action was taken against the judge.

Instead, Ikim conducted investigations, but found no prima facie case against her to take disciplinary action.

On the alleged incident involving the wife of a former CEO, Lokman claimed that the survivor's husband was bedridden at home when the judge visited and alleged sexual harassment took place.

Referring to a purported police report filed by the survivor, he said that the judge had visited the home of the couple, saying that he would like to join them in prayer.

However, the woman discovered that the judge had gotten naked and laid on a bed in the house, Lokman alleged.

Shocked by what she saw, the survivor proceeded to hide in a different room and later claimed that the judge only left at 3am.

“This wasn’t even the first time. The judge went to the house many times until her husband’s death,” Lokman claimed.

“Only after her husband died did she proceed to make a police report,” he added.

Earlier today, Ampang Jaya police chief Mohamad Farouk Eshak was reported by Free Malaysia Today as saying that investigation papers on the matter had been sent back to the police by the attorney-general’s chambers with a request for more information.

Police also confirmed that they have received a first information report against the judge in question, the portal reported. – The Vibes, January 11, 2021
