KUALA LUMPUR – Youth-led Muda has announced three more candidates for the upcoming state elections in Johor.

Muda announced party co-founder Lim Wei Jiet as the candidate for the Tenang seat, while another co-founder Nurafiqah M. Zulkifli will be contesting Bukit Kepong.

The third candidate announced is Johor Muda chairman Azrol Rahani, who will be contesting Bukit Permai.

The party unveiled the candidates in an announcement at Mina Cafe in Labis, Johor.

Aired on Facebook live, it was made by party co-founder and Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

In a statement, the party said the candidates were selected in line with Muda’s effort to bring young leaders active in serving the community and focused on shaping fair and just policies in Johor.

“Muda would like to extend its gratitude to friends in the opposition who have always upheld Muda’s aspirations for the country,” the party said.

“Muda’s focus is to ensure that Johor Bangkit (rises) as a state that is developed and successful. Other Muda candidates will be announced in the near future.” – The Vibes, February 21, 2022
