KOTA KINABALU – The Sabah state government wants authorities to leave no stone unturned in their investigation of a political party leader’s alleged involvement in the selling of fake identification documents in the state. 

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor in a statement today said that the Sabah government is deeply concerned with the case. 

“If found to be true, the suspect and his syndicate members must face the full burn of the law,” he said. 

Hajiji was commenting on Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin’s statement about the arrest of the political party leader under Section 420 of the Penal Code, today. 

The Vibes has reported that the individual arrested was the president of Parti Perpaduan Rakyat Sabah (PPRS), Mohd Arshad Abdul Mualap. 

He was arrested along with one Mohamad Amkah Ahmad for allegedly connected to a fraud selling fake identification documents. – The Vibes, June 30, 2022
