KUALA TERENGGANU – Terengganu Pakatan Harapan (PH) has set an equal distribution of seats among Amanah and PKR for the coming general election.

The coalition’s Terengganu chairman Datuk Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad said Amanah would contest the Kuala Nerus, Marang, Besut, and Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seats while PKR will take on the Dungun, Kemaman, Setiu, and Hulu Terengganu seats.

“We (will) distribute eight parliamentary seats equally among Amanah and PKR… without DAP, but we are still waiting for the final decision from the PH presidential council,” he said at the launching of Kuala Terengganu PH’s election machinery here last night.

He said that even though Terengganu PH is considered less influential, it could spring a surprise in four seats.

“We are confident that we will have a chance in Kuala Terengganu, Kuala Nerus, Kemaman, and maybe even Dungun,” said the Terengganu Amanah chairman, who is expected to contest the Kuala Terengganu seat. – Bernama, October 23, 2022
