BAGAN DATUK – The people must not forget the hardship suffered for 22 months under the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government after the 14th general election (GE14), said Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He added that the people felt cheated when numerous promises offered in their election manifesto were not fulfilled by the PH government after GE14.

“For 22 months, the rakyat did not enjoy anything that was promised by PH after forming the government and the people faced a failed government.

“Therefore, I plead to all voters who had suffered after the GE14 to return to the BN fold and support candidates fielded by BN in GE15,” said the Bagan Datuk incumbent MP after meeting voters at the People’s Housing Project in Bagan Datuk, here today.

Zahid said the BN would fulfil all promises offered in the manifesto to all the people.

“There are 10 core principles and 99 elements or strategies offered in the manifesto, and God-willing, all promises will be carried out if BN is returned to power.

“We have also taken into account the early voters who are from uniformed bodies and election workers. We hope to fulfil all promises made,” he said.
