KUALA LUMPUR – Rainy weather will persist over parts of Peninsular Malaysia from today until Sunday, the National Disaster Management Agency said.

Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon over Perlis, Kedah, and Penang, as well as the central region areas of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negri Sembilan and Melaka.

In Perak, Kelantan and Terengganu, rainfall is expected and will last until tonight, the agency said in a statement this morning.

The afternoon thunderstorms over the central region states are expected to ease but rain will continue until tonight.

For tomorrow morning, Penang and the central region areas can expect dry weather, while rainfall is predicted for Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang.

Thunderstorms will resume tomorrow evening in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, as well as in a few interior places in Perlis, Kedah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan and Johor.

Rainy weather will continue on Saturday but mostly in Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang. The central region area is expected to be dry. – The Vibes, December 1, 2022
