JOHOR BARU – Pakatan Harapan will remain the opposition bloc in Johor despite its cooperation with Barisan Nasional at the federal level, said the coalition’s state chief Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub.

The Amanah deputy president said that no decisions have been made on the formation of a unity government at the state level, although both PH and BN are part of the unity government.

However, he said the relationship between both coalitions was cordial and that there are no issues with them working together in the state.

He said that the state government agencies are responsive and have participated in the people’s programmes held in Pulai, where he is the MP.

“But officially, we cannot determine what form future collaboration (between PH and BN in Johor) will take just yet.

“During the last state assembly sitting, we (PH) were still seated on the opposition side,” said Salahuddin, who is also the Simpang Jeram assemblyman, at an event here last night.
