KUALA LUMPUR – There will be a slew of political meetings this week, including one by the Umno Supreme Council tonight, tweeted Barisan Nasional secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

He said there will be a BN supreme council meeting tomorrow, and a Muafakat Nasional steering committee meet on Wednesday.

“It is better to negotiate. Presidential councils should meet.

“Resolve (issues) as allies. (Stay) united and we shall prevail.”

Umno is embroiled in the Perak menteri besar crisis and talks of shifting alliances.

Meanwhile, Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan tweeted that the party’s political bureau will meet at 5pm today.

He said the Perak issue will be discussed.
