JOHOR BARU – It is not impossible for Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) to win all states on August 12, based on the latest observations and assessments.

Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the unity government could enjoy an overall victory based on latest developments and put rest claims by Perikatan Nasional (PN) that it will win in all six states.

“I have visited all the states to campaign and I do not see any chance of a 6-0 or 5-1 victory in favour of PN.

“Kelantan is a special state and politics in Kedah is unique.

“There is a strong swing factor in Kedah and Terengganu and it could well swing in our favour.

“As for Negri Sembilan, Penang and Selangor, our chances are strong in these three states,” he said.

However, he said any outcome of the state elections, will not destabilise the federal government where BN and PH told 148 parliament seats. – The Vibes, August 5, 2023
