PETALING JAYA – Caretaker Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari upped the offering ahead of polling day tomorrow for voters in the state.

In an address to the people of Selangor aired over Astro Awani, he said if the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) collaboration wins the state tomorrow, Monday will be declared a public holiday.

He said tomorrow’s state election is important as voters will determine Selangor’s fate for the next five years.

“You have the choice between a coalition that will continue to excel and develop the state, or a coalition only interested in using the state election as a means to create political instability and is proven to have no new ideas or plans for the Selangor we love,” Amirudin said.

Voters in Selangor, Kedah, Penang, Negri Sembilan, Kelantan, and Terengganu will hit the polls tomorrow to elect new state governments.

The main contenders for all states are PH-BN and Perikatan Nasional, which consists of Bersatu, PAS, and Gerakan. – The Vibes, August 11, 2023
