Pregnant motorcyclist dies after hitting stray dog in Tampin
A 35-year-old woman who was six months pregnant has died after her motorcycle crashed into a dog last night. – The Vibes, August 24, 2023

TAMPIN – A woman, who was six months pregnant died in hospital after the motorcycle she was riding crashed into a dog around midnight. 

The incident occurred along the Jalan Keru-Batu Belang stretch when the 35-year-old was on her way home to Kg Keru Hulu. 

Police said the victim was rushed to hospital but died about two hours later, at about 2.10am. 

Checks by the police revealed the victim was on her way home from a restaurant along the Jalan Tampin-Gemas road. 

She apparently hit a stray dog before losing control of her motorcycle and falling off. 

The victim suffered serious injuries and despite best efforts by doctors, she died at the Tampin Hospital. 

Her body was sent for a post-mortem.  

Police have meanwhile urged anyone with information to contact the district Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department to assist investigations at 06-4412502 or the district police headquarters operations centre at 06-4431999. – The Vibes, August 24, 2023
