PETALING JAYA – The nation’s former top cop tied the knot last night in what looked like a grand wedding ceremony held at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Shah Alam.

In a Facebook post, it is learned that Tan Sri Musa Hassan, 72, who was the inspector-general of police (IGP) from 2006 to 2010, married Nur Qistina Lim.

Decked in a white tuxedo, Musa’s bride also wore white, as evident in photos shared by Musa’s brother Mohammad Izzat Hassan.

“Welcome kak long (big sister) Puan Sri Qistina to our family,” Izzat wrote.

A clip of the reception was also shared by professional emcee Tuan Asmawi Tuan Umar.

Also present at the wedding was Musa’s brother, well-known actor Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan.

Earlier this year, Musa’s wife Puan Sri Elly Afizahwati Abdul Jalil filed for divorce at the Shah Alam Lower Shariah Court.

The 42-year-old had been married to Musa since 2013 and have one child together.

Musa was previously married to Puan Sri Juriah Ahmad, who passed away in 2019. They had four children and nine grandchildren. – The Vibes, September 24, 2023
