PETALING JAYA – An AirAsia plane from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi recently saw a drama unfold, courtesy of an irate passenger who caused a stir after the flight got delayed.

The passenger, whose identity is not known at this time, appeared to be a foreigner. He found himself getting scolded by others on board who did not take kindly to his antics.

Two passengers recorded the incident and shared it on their respective TikTok accounts.

One of the recordings was made by @mdmsue03 who said that she was seated in the same row as the angry man.

The passenger whose name is Sue said the flight was delayed due to cargo-related issues. The crew had informed the passengers but the man opted to lash out.

Sue said security was then involved and they asked the man, who had a Middle-Eastern accent, to leave but he refused.

He could be heard saying he was not insulting anyone but was just "asking what he believed".

"Ask any passenger if I insult, I didn't insult, bro," he told the security officers.

The man claimed that he had only asked 'what time', to which the security officer politely told him to apologize, presumably to the crew, and he agreed.

In another video shared by passenger @sophian_azmi, others were heard getting frustrated over the ruckus created by the angry man.

He engaged with them and some responded by saying "keluar, keluar (go out)."

Sophian said the man eventually apologised to the captain and crew and he was allowed to remain on the flight. He said they finally took off for Langkawi after a delay of about an hour.

The flight in question was AK6310 from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's Terminal 2 to Langkawi International Airport.

It was supposed to take off at 9.10am but was still grounded by 9.40am, which apparently was what made the foreigner upset, according to Sophian.

The plane finally departed at 10.10am. – The Vibes, October 10, 2023
