KUALA LUMPUR – Tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan demonstrated his generous and “sporting” side when he was approached by a delivery rider who had a chance encounter with him recently.

Apparently, the rider had run a tab at a restaurant and was on his way to pay the money.

On his way there, he bumped into this “uncle” who seemed vaguely familiar to him.

Unknown to him at that time, it was Tan, founder-adviser of Berjaya Corporation Bhd and among the richest men in the country.

“I was greeted by this uncle who was familiar to me, but I just could not recall who he was.

"Out of the blue, I decided to ask him for RM100, and to my surprise he handed it to me,” said the rider.

This amusing incident was recently shared by TikTok user @emy_chachacha.

Towards the end of the video, Tan is seen attending an event in the same mall and the delivery rider approaches him for a photograph and a chat.
