THE police are tracking down a group of men, believed to have been involved in a fight and using sharp weapons, in front of a premises in the city to assist the investigation.

South Johor Bahru District Police Chief ACP Raub Selamat confirmed the incident but informed that so far no report has been made by the victims or parties involved.

He said investigations found that the fight happened last Wednesday at about 11.25pm and the cause of the incident is still under investigation.

"Police are actively hunting down those involved and we have opened an investigation paper under Section 148 of the Penal Code," he said in a statement last night.

He urged the public with any information on the incident to contact South Johor Bahru District Police Headquarters hotline at 07-2182323 or Investigation Officer Inspector Azlinda Mohd Khalid at 017-2765250.

Earlier, two videos with a duration of six seconds to one minute and 25 seconds showing the scuffle, went viral on social media after they were shared in a Facebook post of an account holder using the name Pang Chong. – Bernama, November 17, 2023
