LAU Kok Rui, or Rui as he is known, wrote and directed his first movie to bag six nominations at Taipei's Golden Horse Awards

The results will be known on November 19 and he joined Datuk Kamil Othman and Manvir Victor to share his journey of moving to Hong Kong 14 years ago and how it helped set his career up for this moment.

Rui also adds some never-before-heard stories about both the stars of the movie, the experienced Anthony Wong and newbie Sahal Zaman, a 10-year-old Pakistani boy. 

The movie is the debut project of PETRA Films, headed by Darren Shaw and PETRA Group chairman Datuk (Dr) Vinod Sekhar.
