SINGER and rapper Sasi the Don has collaborated with many local and international acts here and abroad. They include household names like Apache Indian, Anita Sarawak, Amy from Search, and Jaclyn Victor. He has now set his sights on promoting local talents and prominent Malaysians.
‘This is Malaysia’ is a passion project with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). It comes with a song, an accompanying video and an almost hour-long documentary that showcases local designers, artists, musicians, and YouTube stars.
The film also features the 14-year-old Shailaja, who became an entrepreneur to raise funds to help stray animals and is quickly becoming someone most Malaysians want to know more about.
With hosts Datuk Kamil Othman and Manvir Victor, Sasi shares what he thinks is necessary for Malaysians to reach greater heights for our nation.
