The world No. 7 comfortably defeated Taiwan's Chang Ching Hui-Yang Ching Tun 21-8, 21-18 in a quarter-final clash.- October 12, 2024

NATIONAL women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah stormed into the Arctic Open semi-finals in Vantaa, Finland, in a clash that lasted only 32 minutes.

The world No. 7 comfortably defeated Taiwan's Chang Ching Hui-Yang Ching Tun 21-8, 21-18 in a quarter-final clash and will face Japan's world No. 6 Rin Iwanaga-Kie Nakanishi in the semi-finals later today.

Iwanaga-Nakanishi beat China's pair Jia Yi Fan-Li Wen Mei 10-21, 24-22, 21-17, in a thrilling quarter-final.

Pearly-Thinaah, who won the Hong Kong Open earlier this year, hold a 3-1 head-to-head record against the Japanese pair. - October 12, 2024
