JOHOR – JDT head coach, Benjamin Mora expresses his delight over his team’s performance after trashing Selangor 6-1 at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.
The massive scoreline came after JDT beat Perak 7-0 at home two weeks ago.
Mora said he is always expecting his team to win, but certainly not with that kind of scoreline, especially playing against Selangor.
“Before the game, I have never expect(ed) how many goals they are going to score,” he told reporters after the game.
“I’m only expecting a good performance and to win the game.”
“Nonetheless, we need to enjoy the moment; you don’t always get to win the game with scoreline of six to seven goals against Perak and Selangor because they are a very good team.
Mora also believes JDT has shown that they are hungry for success this season.
“It’s a very good win. I personally do not believe in luck, I believe in creating the situation that help(s) you achieve certain result.
“What is going on with us beating Perak 7-0 and now 6-1 against Selangor, I think it’s because of the eagerness to win again.
“If you are not hungry to win then you have a bit of problem, but for us, we will keep on working and remain humble.”
