KUALA LUMPUR – Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) FC has implied that it is forming a new partnership with a renowned international company, which would see the club rake in millions of ringgit in the next four years.

On Twitter, the club said they would announce the partnership – the biggest deal in Malaysian club football history – in late September.

“The deal is also an indication that JDT is able to attract major international brands as the club is seen to be on the right track with its direction, vision and commercial strength under the leadership of HRH Crown Prince of Johor,” said the club.

JDT said the new partner has collaborated with top clubs around the world, such as Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and many others.

JDT currently tops the Malaysian Super League table. They were knocked out of the Asian Football Confederation Champions League after losing 5-0 to Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds.

They became the first Malaysian club to have entered the tournament’s knockout stages. – The Vibes, August 25, 2022
