KUALA LUMPUR – The Asean Football Federation (AFF) is renewing its partnership with Asian sports apparel brand Warrix as an official supporter for the upcoming 2022 AFF Cup in December.

For the second time, Warrix will retain its designation as the AFF Cup’s official match ball and sports apparel supplier. The company will supply the ball boys and referees with kits for all 28 matches, while also producing apparel, bibs and captain’s armbands for the tournament.

Warrix Sports managing director Wisan Wanasaksrisakul said the company is delighted to come onboard once again as the official supporter for the AFF Cup.

“It is a privilege to have the opportunity to play a role in Asean’s leading football competition and help support the growth of the game through high-quality sportswear and innovative equipment,” he said in a statement.

Wisan also said the official match ball launch for competition will be in the coming months.

Meanwhile, managing director of AFF’s exclusive commercial rights partner Sportfive Malcolm Thorpe said Warrix’s involvement in the tournament has elevated the game.

“Warrix’s high-quality football apparel and equipment has significantly enriched the match experience for players, officials, and event personnel.”

Scheduled from December 23 to January 15, 2023, the AFF Cup will begin five days after the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
