KOTA KINABALU – Although being hampered by player injuries, Sabah FC are determined to maintain their unbeaten record at home when they face Terengganu FC in the Super League at Likas Stadium tomorrow night.

Sabah FC head coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee said several key players including Park Tae-su, Kwang Min-ko, and several others are still on the injury list.

“We are still waiting until the last minute whether they can be fielded or otherwise. At the same time, I believe several other players are ready if given the opportunity to play tomorrow night,” he said in a statement here today.

According to him, his men need to be wary of the revival of Terengganu FC (TFC) who previously lost to Sri Pahang FC 1-2 on April 28.

He said that TFC coach Tomislav Steinbruckner’s charges will certainly be out to make up for the defeat to prove that the team are still in the best group at the moment.

“We have to keep up what we have done in the last three games to ensure that we can maintain our unbeaten record at Likas Stadium. This is important for us to continue the league competition so as not to drop points at home,” he said. – Bernama, May 18, 2023
