Fire destroys 20 cars and three motorcycles at Puchong Jaya workshop
No injuries were reported - May 4, 2025

A FIRE tore through a vehicle workshop along the Bukit Jalil Highway in Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor, on Saturday morning, destroying 20 cars and three motorcycles. No injuries were reported.

According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, 21 firefighters from the Puchong, Subang Jaya, Seri Kembangan and Damansara fire and rescue stations were dispatched to the scene following a distress call at 10.56am.

“On arrival at the location at 11.04am, extinguishing operations were immediately carried out. The fire involved a building used as a car and motorcycle workshop,” he said in a statement.

He added that the blaze destroyed approximately 70 per cent of the workshop structure.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. - May 4, 2025
