Early voting takes place today, while nation’s top cop assures all candidates’ safety

WITH four days left until polling day in six states, Muda’s oldest candidate attempts to dispel the notion that “third force” parties are only contesting to split votes.

Meanwhile, the nation’s top cop shuts down claims on “threats” against caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor’s safety during the elections, saying that the PAS leader has personal bodyguards to protect him.

The race also heats up with early voting for police and military personnel today; turnout was over 50% as of 11am. – The Vibes, August 8, 2023
