WITH only three days to go before polling, some are seeking to hit the jackpot on the six-state election results. Penang’s top cop, however, notes that no arrests have been made regarding such gambling activities.

Over in Terengganu, a candidate hedges his bets wrongly after allegedly trying to attract and disturb another man’s wife. A police probe is now underway, with investigation papers to be handed over to prosecution soon.

In neighbouring Kelantan, former Bachok MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz “breaks” his political “fast” after a mere fortnight, following the controversy surrounding his name not being nominated to contest for the Chempaka seat. – The Vibes, August 9, 2023
