President Donald Trump announced Friday that Boeing will build the Air Force’s future F-47 fighter jet, which the Pentagon says will have stealth and penetration capabilities that would be essential in a potential conflict with China, AP reported today.

PRESIDENT  Donald Trump announced Friday that Boeing will build the Air Force’s future F-47 fighter jet, which the Pentagon says will have stealth and penetration capabilities that would be essential in a potential conflict with China, AP reported today.

The award for the contract to build the U.S. Air Force's most sophisticated fighter jet yet, handing Boeing a much-needed win and boosting its shares.

The Next Generation Air Dominance programme will replace Lockheed Martin's F-22 Raptor with a crewed aircraft built to enter combat alongside drones. – March 22, 2025
