US TECH giant Nvidia will supply advanced semiconductor processors to Saudi Arabia’s state-backed firm Humain for use in a new artificial intelligence (AI) megafactory to be built in the kingdom, Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansi (AA) reported on Tuesday.

Bernama-Anadolu reported today that the announcement was made by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang during an investment forum in Riyadh, held alongside the ongoing Middle East visit of former US President Donald Trump, who was present at the event.

In a statement, Nvidia confirmed that Humain will invest in the facility over the next five years, with the AI plant expeced to operate at a total capacity of up to 500 megawatts.

“The initial phase will involve the deployment of 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputing units, equipped with NVIDIA InfiniBand networking,” the company stated.

The high-profile partnership signals Saudi Arabia’s growing ambition to become a global leader in artificial intelligence and next-generation computing, in line with its Vision 2030 economic diversification agenda.

The Grace Blackwell platform, unveiled by Nvidia earlier this year, represents one of the most powerful AI-focused chipsets developed to date, designed to support large-scale AI model training and high-performance data analysis.

Further details of the AI plant's location and timeline are expected to be disclosed in the coming months. - May 14, 2025
