KUALA LUMPUR – Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) founder and inaugural chairman Tan Sri Ibrahim Saad is expected to helm a leading financial institution in the country.

This appointment will allow him to be a shareholder of the institution, and shake-up the list of shareholders, with the inclusion of two other names.

A source told Getaran that the appointment will be announced after some related matters are resolved.

“Everything has been decided, we are waiting for the right time to announce (it).”

Getaran is The Vibes’ Bahasa Malaysia sister portal.

It is learnt that Ibrahim’s appointment has to do with a change in the leadership of a local financial institution that is taking place today.

Getaran had previously reported that Ibrahim and former Malayan Banking Bhd former chairman Datuk Mohaiyani Shamsuddin will be appointed as leaders of a local financial institution. – The Vibes, August 15, 2021
