THE United States Highbush Blueberries Council recently introduced #GrabABoostofBlue campaign to create greater awareness of its blueberries in various forms such as frozen, dried and powdered.

This tiny but powerful fruit is rich in antioxidants and vitamins like Vitamin C and A which plays a crucial role in combating oxidative stress and bolstering the body's defences against free radicals.

This super fruit is also known to lower blood pressure, prevent diseases and improve eyesight.

Whether fresh, frozen, powdered or dried, blueberries boast a ton of nutrients that make them a healthy addition to a balanced diet.

Being native to North America, blueberries are globally known for their superior quality.

The US Highbush Blueberries Council now produces nearly one billion pounds of blueberries annually.

These blueberries are exported worldwide in various forms, making them a favoured choice for their exceptional taste and health benefits.

The #GrabABoostofBlue which began in June this year encourages consumers to embrace a healthy start to their day by sharing creative blueberry-incorporated breakfast recipes.

The six-month campaign ended recently, but consumers can still get updates on the council's latest promotions and activities from their official Facebook at www.facebook.com/us.highbushblueberries.my/ and Instagram at www.instagram.com/us.highbushblueberries.my/

The US Highbush Blueberry Council is an agricultural research and promotion group, representing growers and packers in North and South America who market their blueberries in the United States and overseas.

The council works to promote the growth and well-being of the entire blueberry industry which is committed to providing blueberries that are grown, harvested, packed and shipped in clean, safe environments.  - The Vibes. December 11, 2023
