CHRISTMAS is the season of giving and in line with this, Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (Matrix Concepts) recently celebrated it by caring for the less fortunate and needy.

About 100 orphans and underprivileged children, aged between four to 12 years old took part in activities organised during the launching of the Christmas Candyland event at d’Tempat Country Club in Seremban.

The CSR project initiative was part of Matrix Concepts Group's objective to come together to inspire the spirit of kindness and generosity with children in need of love during this festive season.

Matrix Concepts Chief Executive Officer, Chai Keng Wai, said this year's Christmas CSR programme reflects the company’s commitment to encourage greater community participation in reaching out to those in need and forging a special bond with them.

He also presented mock cheques to several homes in Seremban, including Sekinah Care Centre at Rahang, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Seremban (Pekekas) and Church of Visitation for underprivileged children.

Chai also launched the Christmas Candyland which will be on till December 24, 2023, where the public can enjoy and experience workshops and activities to create your sweet fluff, ginger craft, sticky sweet delights and Christmas ornaments.

This sets the tone for a dynamic series of games and festivities, with a spectacular fireworks show on Christmas Eve, set to mark the grand finale of the event and welcome the new year. - The Vibes, December 11, 2023
