KUALA LUMPUR – Stand-up comedian Kavin Jay is back with a brand-new live comedy show titled 'I Am Sorry I Shouted' this February 18 and 19.
This will be his first major show since the start of lockdown in 2019, and will be unlike anything he's done before.
It's set to reveal Kavin's more serious nature – from his relationship with his daughter to an unfortunate incident in Bangsar many years ago (that may or may not involve a bear).
Besides that, 'I Am Sorry I Shouted' will dive into topics that may often leave Malaysians feeling uncomfortable, but, in Kavin's words, "need to be talked about".
An integral part of the Asian comedy revolution, Kavin is one of the most recognisable Malaysian names in international comedy. In 2018, Kavin's Netflix special 'Everybody Calm Down' was placed in the Top 10 Best Netflix Specials of 2018 by Indiewire.
Having performed everywhere from Finland to Los Angeles, Kavin's astute observations leave audiences gasping for breath and holding onto their seats for dear life.
The show will begin at 8pm on both nights and will be held at the Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC), at 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
