DEBUTING for the first time in Malaysia, king of 'Daddy Kool' Atul Khatri from Mumbai, India, will be performing live in Kuala Lumpur.

Presented by LOL Asia, ex-CEO Atul makes a living making people laugh harder. One of only three Indian comedians to have a comedy special on Netflix, Atul is revered as the Best Stand-up Act in India by India Nightlife Convention and Awards.

He was the only Indian to perform in the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival and was the winner of the CEO’s Got Talent, Season 1 contest. CNN-IBN recently rated him as one of the top 20 comedians in India to watch out for.

The stand-up comedian and YouTube personality's show here will be held on January 27, 8.30pm at The Platform, Menara Ken TTDI, Malaysia.

Having performed to full-house shows for the last 11 years in the USA, Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, Europe, Manila, Australia, Atul's Comedy Special “The Happiest Ending” was beamed on Netflix in January 2019 as part of Comedians of the World, which featured the Top 47 comedians from 13 countries.

A performance at the prestigious “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” in Sydney, Australia followed in November 2019. It also featured leading comedians from around the world including Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Atul remarked, “This is my first public performance in Malaysia and I’m looking forward to it with my new show called `Daddy Kool.’ I believe the audience can expect laughter, fun, panache in my set and will relate to the content and have a laughter riot.

"It is mainly in English and will appeal to a cross-section of expats, too. See you soon, Malaysia.”

With 500 comedy-drama shows, TV commercials, and YouTube videos under his belt, and as one of the three finalists at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Atul routinely performs to sell-out crowds at many distinguished venues, and now it's Kuala Lumpur's turn.
