JEREMY Renner, most famously known for playing Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” his spokesperson said on Sunday.

The two-time Oscar nominee had been airlifted earlier Sunday to a hospital. His spokesperson said his family is with him now and he is “receiving excellent care.”

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, Renner has a home in the area, near Mountain Rose-Ski Tahoe. The region saw a winter storm hit on New Year’s Eve that resulted in 35,000 homes across the region losing power.

In addition to the Marvel movies, Renner has also appeared in films in the Bourne and Mission Impossible franchise.

He earned a Best Actor Oscar nomination in 2010 for the war film The Hurt Locker (which won Best Picture of that year), and received a Supporting Actor Oscar in the following year for the crime thriller The Town.

He is currently starring in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown. – The Vibes, January 2, 2023
