KUALA LUMPUR – This year, most standard operating procedures (SOPs) of the movement control order (MCO) 3.0 state that the limit for congregants in a mosque is only 50 for buildings with a 1,000-person capacity.
If the capacity of the mosque is below 1,000, only 20 worshipers are allowed.
However, today, many were seen trying their luck for the Aidilfitri prayers this morning.
But the authorities were quick to keep to SOPs, leaving many who were not allowed to enter mosques performing their prayers outside the compound.
