A RECENT video of a small boy pining for a hug from his late mother has left many netizens in tears.

According to the father @zulimaniempire, he was busy cleaning his wife's grave when he saw his son lying on it.

"When I asked him why he was doing that, he said he missed Mama and wanted to hug her badly.

"Be patient, my dear," he wrote.

The boy's mother had died on January 1, this year. 

Netizens who flooded the Comment section said they were moved to tears watching the video, while some said they understood what the boy was going through.

Many also shared their experiences of losing their mothers and how they, too, would cry when visiting their graves. – February 10, 2026
