THE founder of Malaysian Fashion Week, Datuk Nancy Yeoh, and a venture capital specialist, Ivan Lim, have come together to unlock the financial capacity of cryptocurrency investors to unlock the value of the creative arts and fashion industries.
Under the IMSTYLO brand, Yeoh, who is a fashion icon in the socialite circles, hopes to attract the attention of crypto investors towards the world of fashion and creativity, tapping established and fresh talent to drive Malaysia's creative force.
In turn, Yeoh expects a thriving fashion scene to create multiplier effects on the micro economy for entrepreneurs and artistes as well as artists, designers, marketers and models alike.
"It is a vision which we think Malaysia needs to stimulate the industry. We are also keen to work with our media counterparts to propagate this effort," said Yeoh.
She has organised two funders meet the creators presentations; one at the Lava Mansion Suites in George Town, Penang and another in Notte Kuala Lumpur, at the Zenzero Restaurant.
"IMSTYLO bridges creators and collectors with the blockchain technology investors, unlocking new value beyond the traditional retail platforms," said Yeoh.
She is excited about infusing the scene with new age capital derived from crypto and blockchain investors, while also promoting the talents in performing arts, fashion, culture and arts.
Yeoh, who has several fashion portfolios behind her, says that a new frontier is taking shape where creativity meets capital.
IMSTYLO, a Swiss-based blockchain IP under Stylo International, was founded by Yeoh alongside Lim.
Its mission is to bridge the gap between creativity and capital through technology.
Positioned as a Real World Assets (RWA) platform, IMSTYLO enables creative intellectual property — such as fashion collections, films, music rights, and cultural works to be structured as on-chain and value - backed assets.
This allows for liquidity, transparency, and fractional ownership, opening access to global capital markets, said Lim, who stressed that the process is transparent and accountable to arrest the speculation that it is a form of fast capital gains.
RWA is rapidly emerging as a major sector in on-chain finance, with total market value exceeding US$360 billion as of April 2026, driven by assets such as treasury instruments, private credit, and real estate, said Lim.
IMSTYLO extends this model into the creative economy, unlocking new investment opportunities in arts and culture.
“The world is not short of creativity,” said Yeoh.
What’s missing is integration technology, structured ecosystems, and real access to digital capital markets such as crypto, which requires blockchains, she underscored.
Among the standout pitches the judges heard was acclaimed filmmaker Datuk Shuhaimi Baba, together with co-producer Kavita Sidhu, presenting the highly anticipated Pontianak 3.

The franchise has long shaped Malaysian cinema, helping launch Maya Karin into stardom and defining the region’s horror genre.
Also taking the stage was Rodin Kumar, composer, impresario, and founder of the International Jazz Festival, sharing his vision for music productions and live experiences.
Azizul Latif introduced his edgy songkok label “We Are Nothing” alongside a bold RWA collectable concept titled Punk Rock Kelantanese: A Textile Motif.
From Penang, 2016 Malaysia Fashion Week winner and Jimmy Choo accessories designer Jonathan Yun presented his refined Nyonya jewellery collection, set to feature in the upcoming IMSTYLO showcase with a Peranakan ensemble entitled The Little Nyonya this June.
But beyond the diversity of creative expression, a common thread ran through every pitch: transformation.
“We are enabling creators to evolve from artists into asset builders,” said Lim.
“From blockchain-backed ownership to structured investor ecosystems, we are creating a new model for global scalability."
