MEGHAN Markle has become the first modern British royal to vote in a US presidential election after casting an early mail ballot, a source has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly "couldn't wait" to cast her vote via a mail-in ballot.

Meghan, an American, and her husband Prince Harry now reside in Montecito, California after stepping back from their senior working royal family member roles in March this year.

For decades, the British royal family has remained politically neutral since doing otherwise would be considered unconstitutional. However, in their new roles, the couple can speak more freely about important issues, including this year's US election. – The Vibes, November 4, 2020
