WORLD-renowned saxophonist Kenny G, known for his smooth jazz ballads, will be performing in Malaysia on April 2nd.
Kenny G, who's real name is Kenny Gorelick, shot to international fame with hit songs such as 'Songbird' and 'Silhouette.' He remains one of the best-selling instrumentalists of the modern era, adored by legions of fans from around the globe.
The concert will take place at the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting.
Since becoming a household name in the '80s, the musician, 66, has religiously practiced the saxophone for up to four hours a day, every day. Kenny has remained active on the music scene and stayed connected with fans.
Apart from his many tour dates, Kenny released a new album 'New Standards' in 2021 that features 11 original compositions inspired by the Jazz ballads of the ’50s and ’60s.
The musician is known for his collaborations with a wide range of artists, in a variety of genres from smooth jazz to pop, R&B and even hip-hop. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, and TLC. His music has also been featured in numerous films, TV shows and commercials.
