POLICE are looking for a man who was spotted clinging onto the rear of a moving trailer along Second Link Highway heading towards Senai.

Kulai police chief, Tan Seng Lee, said police were aware of the incident following a viral video which has been circulating since noon yesterday.

"The incident occurred at 10am at Km35 of the highway.

"Initial investigations revealed that the driver of the Scania lorry was heading to the Senai Industrial Area from Kangkar, Pulai and was unaware of the man," he said.

The driver only became aware after a friend sent him the viral video and has since come to the Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Division of the Kulai district police headquarters to assist with investigations.

Tan also urged anyone with information on the incident to contact the police.

The case is being investigated under Section 47(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 336 of the Penal Code. - The Vibes, February 17, 2024
