A YEAR Six male student is believed to have died from an electric shock at a school in Serdang, Selangor, yesterday.

Serdang District Police Chief, AA Anbalagan said they received a report on the incident at about 6.30 pm.

"The complainant, a 36-year-old local woman, made a police report regarding her patient, a 12-year-old boy, in an unconscious state.

"The victim is believed to have been electrocuted at a school in the Serdang area before being confirmed dead at about 6.50pm," he said in a statement today.

He said investigations related to the incident are still ongoing.

"Police are still waiting for the autopsy report to identify the cause of death.

"The case is classified as sudden death," he said. - December 19, 2024
