HIS Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, has granted royal assent to six bills passed during the Third Session of the 15th Parliament, held from October 14 to December 12 last year. These bills will now be enacted as Acts of Parliament.
Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul made the announcement prior to the start of the Minister’s Question Time at today’s Dewan Rakyat sitting.
The newly enacted laws include the Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Federal Territories) (Amendment) Act 2025, Data Sharing Act 2025, National Wages Consultative Council (Amendment) Act 2025, Administration of Islamic Law (Federal Territories) (Amendment) Act 2025, Trustee (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act 2025, and Trustee (Amendment) Act 2025.
