FORMER prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri will not be giving his statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission as scheduled tomorrow.
This, after the Bera MP submitted another Medical Chit (MC) to the graft busters.
It is learnt that Ismail Sabri's doctor has given him an MC till March 12.
The MACC will be speaking to the doctor concerned tomorrow to clarify Ismail Sabri's health situation and that he able to give his statement on March 13.
Ismail Sabri's earlier appointment was also postponed due to his ill health.
He was scheduled to be questioned by the graft busters at their Putrajaya headquarters after he was named as a suspect in a money laundering probe.
MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said Ismail Sabri would be called in for further questioning and to provide details on the assets he had previously declared in February. – March 6, 2025
