DEPUTY Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof has stressed the importance of recognising and appreciating the dedication and sacrifices made by members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
He highlighted that police officers not only serve tirelessly but are also always ready to risk their lives for the safety and security of the nation and its people.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Fadillah emphasised that no wealth in the world could repay the invaluable contributions of the nation’s security forces.
“There is no treasure in this world that can repay the service and sacrifices of all those who protect our nation. May every drop of sweat shed in service be rewarded with goodness and blessings,” Fadillah, who also serves as the Minister of Energy Transition and Water (PETRA), said.
In conjunction with the 218th Police Day celebrations, Fadillah reflected on this year's theme, "The Police and the Community Are Inseparable," which he described as a sacred slogan held by every officer and member of PDRM. This theme reflects their commitment to providing the best service for the welfare, safety, and security of the people, as well as the peace of the nation.
He concluded his message with gratitude, saying, “Thank you to the heroes of the nation. Your contributions are beyond measure, and only Allah SWT can repay them. Happy 218th Police Day.” – March 25, 2025
