IN line with rising global oil prices, the Government has announced an increase in the retail price of RON97 petrol, which will rise by 5 sen per litre from April 3, 2025 to April 92025.
The new price for RON97 will be RM3.33 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF), in a statement today, confirmed that the government will continue to closely monitor market trends and adjust retail prices accordingly, ensuring stability in fuel costs while responding to market fluctuations.

Under the weekly Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the revised retail prices for petroleum products for the coming week are as follows:
- RON97 petrol will increase by 5 sen per litre, from RM3.28 to RM3.33 per litre;
- The price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre;
- Diesel prices in Peninsular Malaysia will stay at RM3.03 per litre;
- Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre.
