If the Sabah DUN is not dissolved by the end of next October, then the Sabah DUN for the 16th term will dissolved on its own - July 28, 2025

SEAT-sharing negotiations between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) to face the upcoming Sabah State Election (PRN) have been completed, said PKR Secretary-General Datuk Fuziah Salleh.

Fuziah also stressed that PH and BN will contest together in the Sabah PRN and that PH-BN coalition in Sabah has now been confirmed.

“PKR always welcomes cooperation with any party in facing the Sabah State Election,” she said as reported by Berita Harian today.

If the Sabah DUN is not dissolved by the end of next October, then the Sabah DUN for the 16th term will dissolved on its own as it would have reached its maturity date of five years.

If the DUN is dissolved at the end of next October, the Election Commission (EC) has until the end of December 2025 to hold PRN17. – July 28, 2025
