PAS wishes all Hindus in Malaysia a Happy Deepavali
“It is hoped that the warmth and brilliance of Deepavali can be felt and shared by all,” said PAS - October 20, 2025

PAS today wished all Malaysians who are Hindus a Happy Deepavali with the hope that this year's celebration will bring happiness, peace and prosperity to all levels of society.

Its Secretary-General, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said that the Festival of Lights also reminds people that light will always overcome darkness while goodness will triumph over evil no matter how great the challenges faced.

“Let us nourish this eternal spirit and hope in our daily lives as a large family that always stands for the values ​​of goodness, honesty, justice, love and truth symbolized by the light itself,” he said in a statement on Monday.

According to him, in the excitement of this annual celebration, the community is also reminded not to forget the less fortunate or those who are facing difficulties.

“It is hoped that the warmth and brilliance of Deepavali can be felt and shared by all,” he said

Takiyuddin also expressed his appreciation to Malaysians who always maintain the harmony and unity of various religions and races, which is the country's foundation. - October 20, 2025
