KUALA LUMPUR Police have yet to record a statement from Russian model Alisa Kasimova, 26, who allegedly became a victim of verbal sexual harassment by a local male influencer at a restaurant in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.

Dang Wangi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam, confirmed that the model is currently in Bali, Indonesia.

“She will only return to Malaysia on 20 November. For now, we have not yet recorded her statement,” he told Harian Metro today.

The incident went viral on social media after a video surfaced showing the influencer making inappropriate and explicit remarks toward the model while she was dining.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Fadil Marsus, said police received a report from Kasimova at the Dang Wangi Police Station on Saturday.

“The report concerns a TikTok video that humiliated the victim through vulgar language,” he said in a statement.

Fadil added that the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for using words intended to insult a person’s modesty and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for improper use of network facilities. - November 9, 2025
