FIVE individuals, including a four-year-old boy, were injured in a four-vehicle collision on Jalan Tengku Ismail here on Sunday afternoon, police reported.
The accident, which occurred around 5.30pm, involved a Tesla driven by a 31-year-old woman who reportedly lost control of her vehicle before striking three other vehicles, including a parked motorcycle.
Temerloh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Nasyim Bahron, said initial investigations indicate the Tesla was travelling from Temerloh town towards Mentakab when the incident occurred.
“Upon reaching the scene, the driver’s vehicle is believed to have lost control and collided with a red Perodua Myvi,” he said. “The impact pushed the Myvi forward, causing it to strike a Yamaha motorcycle parked nearby.”
The Tesla also collided with a blue Perodua Viva parked in the vicinity.
As a result, the 32-year-old driver of the Myvi reportedly sustained a suspected fracture to her right shoulder.
Three other passengers, including a 29-year-old woman, suffered abdominal bruising, while a 28-year-old woman and a four-year-old boy sustained minor injuries. All victims, including the Tesla driver, received treatment at a hospital.
Mohd Nasyim added that the motorcycle rider and the driver of the Perodua Viva, both aged 43, were unharmed as they were not in their vehicles at the time of the collision.
The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, and further inquiries are ongoing.
“This incident highlights the importance of road safety and vigilance, especially in urban areas where parked vehicles and pedestrians are present,” Mohd Nasyim noted. - February 16, 2026
